Biography

Jordan is a multi-instrumentalist located in Jacksonville Florida. Jordan earned his bachelors in music performance on bassoon and saxophone from Eastern Washington University and has earned a Masters in Jazz Studies from the University of North Florida. Originally a native of the Pacific Northwest, Jordan has had the unique experience of being a part of different musical cultures from performing on cruise ships to living and teaching in South Africa.  Jordan has played on cruise ships and has had the opportunity to play with the Bob Curnow Big Band, Jacksonville Symphony, Coastal Symphony of Georgia, Savannah Philharmonic, Jeremy Davis Big Band, Chris Thomas big band as well as being the incumbent bari sax player for the group WineHoused: The Amy Celebration. Jordan plays all the saxophones and is an exceptional doubler on flute, clarinet and bassoon. Jordan is also an avid educator in his own studio, serving as an adjunct at the University of North Florida as well as being asked to be an instructor at local music camps.
